Our beds are highly personal things, as one of the most important pieces of furniture in our bedrooms it needs to be a lot of things: Comfortable, Stylish and adaptable among many other characteristics. Darker woods like Ash have become very popular in recent years whilst cheaper wooden furniture such as pine wood can be good for getting matching drawers, wardrobes and bed side cabinets too
Metal Beds The Metal bed frames have long been popular for classic and elaborate designs but have waned in fashion in recent years. The Wrought iron look has been replaced by the Steel frames that are much more minimalist and modern in appearance. Some people don’t prefer metal beds as they can creak if not maintained over time.
There are some beds that use wood as the base frame but have aluminium or steel accents to make it stand out and look stylish so you don’t always have to make a choice between the two as they can complement each other well.
