This is NOT the cheap particle-board stuff you think it is. This is a sturdy well-built cart. This beats everything I looked at locally (WalMart, Target, etc) and the price is comparable. Do not be misled by the reasonable price.

Pros: Solid wood, reasonably priced, relatively easy to put together.
Cons: Factory defects. The left door had a four-inch hairline crack, and there was another, shorter one in a side panel. These were not caused by shipping. The lower hinge on the left door was improperly installed and was bent, with the screw not sitting flush. The door does not close properly. There are two braces installed on the lower side of the top; one was 1/2″ too long. This meant the top could only be screwed down on one side (holes did not align), and the side panel/back could not be tightened completely to make it square. All these matters could have been solved if I was a woodworker, but if I was a woodworker, I’d have built my own cart.
However: I ordered this for a strictly utilitarian purpose, so will keep it. But I’d hesitate to order anything else made by this company.

I bought this after roscoe69 said this was not the cheap stuff that Target and Walmart are selling. I cancelled my order with Walmart and bought this. This is high quality wood. Pretty easy to put together. It came with good instructions. This thing is solid and well worth the money. I was pretty shocked at how nice it looks.

The wooden cart is wonderful, but the packing was not very good. One dowel was broken off and backboard was cracked. I drilled out broken dowel and glued another 3/8 dowel in its place. I used the cracked backboard. The cracked side is towards my wall so it is hidden.
The drawer is very solid and good for silverware. The cupboard is good for appliances (stand mixer, toaster, coffee maker, coffee pot). It wheels around easily. The towel rack is very handy. Cart is assembled with supplied screws and key.

I purchased this kitchen cart and assembled it per the instructions. The left door hits the upper front cross bar at the top and the right door hits the lower front cross bar at the bottom. Also, the doors hit each other when closing, although this problem seems to have corrected itself after a few weeks. I attempted to contact the manufacturer by email, but they did not respond. I called their customer service and was told to order 2 new doors using the order form provided. I faxed it to them 3 weeks ago. I called today to see where my doors were and they said they had no record of my order and that I should resend the fax. It now appears that the main cause of the problem is that the front of the cabinet is not square, but there doesn’t appear any way to correct this. When they eventually send me the replacement doors, if they don’t solve the problem, I will probably have to remove some material from the top or bottom of the doors until they fit. Amazon offered to refund my money, but it is far too much trouble to disassemble the cart and repackage it for return. I don’t think I would buy anything made by Winsome Woods again.
