VacMaster Storage Bags and Rolls use the latest in vacuum technology to keep foods fresh up to five times longer. Typical embossed-channel vacuum bags tend to flatten over time, minimizing the channel for air to escape, which leads to an incomplete vacuum process. Our unique bag design maximizes bag suction during the vacuum process, decreasing machine stress. Our bags work harder so your machine doesn’t have to…. More >>

I wasn’t sure about buying an off brand to work with my Food Saver sealer, but bit the bullet at the high price tag of the Food Saver brand bags. These work fantastic, not a single problem encountered in the sealing process. Its only been a few days since I sealed up a number of packages of dry goods, but I am not anticipating them developing leaks later either.
I’m thrilled at a lower cost brand of bags, this will allow me to seal up items for camping/backpacking without feeling guilty about the expense. (Its great to seal up even clothing items to ensure they are dry when needed!) I will have no qualms at all about using this brand in the future, as I’m getting excellent quality and a reduced price.

Product description indicated that material would work with all sealers, and it works just fine with my FoodSaver 3860. Cuts, vacuums, seals, and holds the vacuum perfectly – at considrably lower cost that the FoodSaver rolls.

These bags work better for me than the brand for my vacuum sealer! They have vacuumed & sealed every single time with practically no bunching. The vacuum sealer brand bags don’t always vacuum on the first try, and, they bunch up if I don’t always have them perfectly flat on the sealer when I close it. This causes them to not vacuum sometimes or they won’t seal properly so I have to try opening the bag to reseal it or repackage what I’m sealing because I couldn’t open the bag without tearing it. Another thing I like is that there aren’t any labels that run along the entire roll. I don’t have to worry about making sure the bag is turned the right way so I can write on it anywhere I want to (not that I can’t even with the label). I can’t stand seeing the part of the label that has “date” or “item” cut off. That is just a waste and an eye sore to me. These bags are made of very flexible, yet durable material. They even hold up to boiling which is a big plus for me since I like to boil things I have frozen in them. One negative thing for me is that the lining inside the bag seems to reduce the number of times I can re-use them. The only other things I noticed don’t really affect the rolls themselves – first, the box isn’t perforated for easy removal of the rolls. Second, the rolls are kind of bulky and aren’t rolled very tightly and smoothly on the roll. But they still fit & work and that’s what really matters.

I bought the Foodsaver this winter and was using their bags, which I found were rather pricey. This was a great savior. although the quality is just a tad under the Foodsaver they are my budget minded substitute. They do work just as well. Bags are on the roll looser than the Foodsaver but I can deal with that for the low price..half the cost of the other bags!

ok for light duty use, just not as tough as foodsaver bags , tear easy and bags are to wrinkled for easy use. a good example of getting what you pay for.
