The shipment arrived in a resonable time. After 3 + hours of two friends assembling the dresser, just as we thought we were finishing up we realized that one of the sides was not drilled out properly and the needed hardware was missing. This was on a Saturday. On Monday I contacted Netrush, and I have to say, they are trying to assist me in getting this resolved. However, I was told the part would arrive in a week, and I still have had no word if or when the part was shipped from the manufacturer in Canada. My son arrives home for the holidays in two days, and I dare say he has no place to put his belongings! Although the product itself is a good buy for the price, I have learned my lesson and will NEVER again purchase furniture via the internet if it isn’t fully assemled. It’s too big a risk.

I got this dresser as a xmas present for my boyfriend and although it is very pretty, it wasnt all that easy to put together. We’re a pretty handy couple but this dresser was definitely a test for patience…at one point my boyfriend threatened to box everything up and ship it back! After all that, very happy with the dresser..and happy he didnt ship it back.

It was quite good dresser. I never had one in ebony and I’m happy I got this. It is quite similar to this Dresser

I wouldn’t call this easy to assemble unless you have a lot of extra time, patience, and neighbors who are hard of hearing. The wood is nice though and I’m sure it will look nice once I manage to put it together.

I would have preferred more expensive bedroom furniture, but the staircase in this 125 year old house is too narrow and has too many corners to bring anything much larger than a coffee table upstairs. So… assemble-it-yourself has been the only way to go. I purchased the media stand from this collection first, and was pleased with the sturdy construction, the attractive finish and hardware, and ease of assembly. This dresser was no different, and I’m pleased with it for the price. The drawers glide easily (plastic runners) and have stops to prevent pulling them out too far, they’re plenty roomy. The ebony color is very dark chocolate and black with a soft satin gloss. It’s quite neutral and blends well with antique Persian carpets and Tiffany style lamps, though it would work with modern decor, too. Most of the pieces come with a touch-up marker to fix nicks or scratches. I’ve also purchased the tall chest, nightstand, and mirror. They’re all good, basic pieces to decorate around, and reasonably priced for what you get.
