Upon assembly, this dresser appears to be reasonably sturdy, despite it being made from particle-board. It’s cute, and the drawer mechanisms work well. I purchased it as a replacement for my toddler’s old dresser- I do plan on using it as a changing table (with an attachable changing pad) for a new baby, despite this not being it’s official function.

Assembly took about three hours altogether; one person can do most of the work, but you do need two people to do the end assembly. Instructions were pretty clear in most cases, with good illustrations- only once did I use the wrong screws for one drawer- be careful to separate the hardware and know which ones you use for which part. The drawer bottoms are very thin and flexible- they should stay put after final assembly, but probably can’t take rough use. I was sort of shocked that one of the back pieces is basically thick cardboard- they should at least make this thin plywood. The drawer slides are plastic, not metal, so again, unsure how these will hold up in a child’s room.

The finish is nice, and the drawer handles are cute- wish they had blue instead of red. They seem to attach firmly. The price on this is probably about right- cheap, self- assemble furniture. Time will tell if it was worth it.
