A very stylish and smart looking product. Complements a contemporary decor. The assembly instructions are good; however, set aside a few hours so that you can proceed slowly, especially if it is your first time putting together one of these kits. You can use a black felt-tip pen to cover up any nicks.
The main pieces are particle board covered with a veneer. This finish will not take kindly to abuse, so I would not recommend it for use in a child’s room.
The drawer bottoms were missing from the package. I called the manufacturer (South Shore) and they shipped the missing parts immediately.
