The instructions were clear and it was very easy to assemble. My cats are all over it all day long, they love it! <br />The only way I could want it to be different is for the "house", "basket", and "teepee" to be a little bigger as 2 of my cats are the "longbody" type and don't fit in completely. There is some hang-over and hang-out involved. But it keeps them active with all the climbing and ambushing, I think they are much less bored now. Happy cats make a happy house! They have another armakat tower that I thought was well made and easy enough to put together, and they seemed to like it. We had two young kittens 6 weeks old, and after the inittial intrepidation of this tree they love it. They play and sleep all over it. It did take them a few days to get use to it, but now it is their main focus in the house. It did take an hour to put it together, but at no time was I confused as to the construction of it. They use it to sharpen their claws on it as well and not the leather couches we were worried about. We did have to put it in a corner due to the agressive manner in wich they play on it.
