I am currently going to high school and my major problems are not being able to keep my bedroom clean and being unorganized. My parents always get angry at me about this. Can some one please give me tips?! Right now my bedroom is VERY messy!

People have told me my bedroom smells of old socks and I do on occasion leave some clothes lying about on the floor. My window is always open too but this doesn’t seem to be helping.

I have a cat – who sheds a lot. His litter box is in the bathroom that is directly off of my bedroom..so i vacuum the bathroom daily (sometimes multiple times a day)…

My bedroom only gets vacuumed once a week (saturdays). With the cat shedding so much this summer I’ve been vacuuming a little more than usual..

My room doesnt really get dirty (other than my cat who basically doesnt leave my room). I dont eat in here, nobody wears shoes in here..so theirs really not a lot of dirt or crums that get tracked through here…

How often should i be vacuuming. Does once every other day sound reasonable?

I have a son with me on our bedroom. He’s just one year old and there are times that he vowels on his diaper at night. even if I change his diaper, the smell of his vowel remains in our room. aside from air freshener, what else can I use to make our bedroom smells good.
