INSTANT BATH TUB SHOWER SAFETY GRIP SUCTION HANDLE This product is very unsafe. Even when you believe it is secure, over time it releases itself. Usually, you would purchase this item to assist personal stability under, what can be, dangerous conditions. The unreliability and tile limitations associated with this product make it a poor choice. Value your personal safety and look for a more permanent solution for safety grip needs in bathroom areas. Value the safety of your family and self and do not purchase this grip.

This safety handle would be great if it worked. It would not work on tile because the groves between the tiles made the seal not work. I put it on the tub which worked until the shower steam made the seal release. I tried it many times and never could get it to stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. After having knee replacement surgery I just need a grip for a short time and did not want to drill holes into the tile. Since the grip was so reasonably priced I was afraid of the quality but it has worked great.

This is a great idea, but it doesn’t work.
Before I saw the critical reviews I purchased 3 grips : 1 for myself, and 2 for gifts.
I diligently followed the directions, and attempted to install the grip. It sorta adhered to my tiled shower wall, but when I needed it, it failed, and came off in my hand! This is too dangerous.
I tried again. I woke up in the middle of the night by the crash of the grip falling to the floor.

This is exactly what we needed: a temporary bathtub/shower safety bar for which we did not need to drill into the wall. When we first got it, we had a little trouble with it coming loose; but we found that when we pushed it down hard onto the surface of the shower and then flipped the suction locks, it adhered perfectly. It hasn’t come loose since! My 81-yr-old father found it very helpful while he was visiting us this past Christmas, and I was happy not to have to drill holes into the shower surround for it! I am very pleased with the product and with the fast delivery from the vendor, Unique Gifts.
